Quick Take: This is How They Made Chris Evans Skinny in Captain America

21 Jul

One of the first things people notice about the Captain America: The First Avenger trailer is….”Holy crap! How did they make Chris Evans that skinny?” I thought that they used the technology from The Social Network where they digitally put a face on another actors’ body. It turns out that the answer was far cooler than that.

This is really cool! At least he didn’t have to do a Christian Bale; that’s so unhealthy. Maybe Hollywood will stop making men go through this odd body changes and toying with their health so much. I wanted to feed and nurture Bale in the Machinist. He looked like he would die.

The details that went into this…I can’t wait to see how it actually looks on screen.

Yeah, I was really amazed at the amount of time that they took on this. I just hope their focus wasn’t only on visual effects and that they at least provide a decent story.

We reach your goals in enterprises which demand the positive qualities we possess, but we excel in those which can also employ our defects.
In modern business it’s not at all the crook who’s being feared most, it does not take honest man who doesn’t understand what he’s doing.
