Chris Petersen

Hey everyone, welcome to our blog. I am Chris Petersen and I am here to take on Hollywood and shed
some light in the darkness that has become today’s cinema. I am increasingly fed up with the decrease
in quality films that Hollywood spews out on to the big screen and I decided that I needed a voice, even
if it was faint, to shout into the abyss.

My favorite films include Gangs of New York, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Saving Private Ryan,
Casablanca, and Raging Bull. You can see the full list of My 20 Favorite Films here.

I am anti-excessive sequels and remakes, Nicolas Cage (I am a proud supporter of the Keep Nic Off the
Screen (KNOTS) Association),and an advocate for the proper use of 3D. On our blog, Pac and I will give
our takes on films we watch, Top Ten Lists, commentary on the latest film news.

Brian “Pac” Sostak

Joining Chris on this site in the summer of 2010; I, Brian “Pac” Sostak am here to help Chris take on
Hollywood but also to play Devil’s Advocate (good movie) once in a while. I’m a sucker for superhero
flicks, horror movies, and nostalgic remakes (to a fault) but am completely willing to be honest about
their quality.

My favorite films include: Training Day, Snatch, The Godfather, Friday, Halloween, Taxi Driver, and Alien.
Among my favorite television shows are: The Shield, The Sopranos, Dexter, How I Met Your Mother,
South Park, and The Wire.

Sequels and remakes don’t bother me as much as long as they are respectful and stay canon to the
source material. I prefer IMAX over 3D but would choose a cheaper ticket price over either format
unless it provides to the story and the experience. Thanks for reading.
